Azizah Rowen landed her first acting job at age six. From there, she was off and running as a lifelong storyteller: she has worked as an actress in TV, film, and at notable theater companies in LA, SF, NYC, and London; and has also told stories through her music and writing. Azizah is a founding member of the renowned Workshop 360 theater company in L.A. and received her BA at USC's School of Dramatic Arts. She has studied at The Imagined Life in Los Angeles, The Groundlings in Los Angeles, The Royal Academy of London, The Barrow Group in New York, Atlantic Acting School in New York, and The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. She is a proud member of SAG/AEA and NYWIFT (New York Women in Film and Television), a founding member of the Superbloom collective, and a member of the Shotz Theater group. Having lived in NYC for ten years, Azizah has now come back home to Los Angeles.

As a musician and songwriter Azizah's songs have been featured on the hit show Switched At Birth on ABC Family, as well as in the feature film Women and Sometimes Men. Her music is available on all streaming platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify. She has performed live shows in NYC, SF, and LA.

Azizah is a co-author of the recently published book, This Is Motherhood and the writer of two short films. She is currently in active development on two screenplays, and is the co-creator and co-host of the podcast 'Sibling Grievery,' which can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon. Azizah is also a founding member of the Superbloom House creative collective and an ambassador for the March of Dimes Charity. She is also a dubbing artist, having dubbed over four foreign-language films for Netflix in the last year.
Azizah Rowen brings a distinctive blend of neighborhood expertise, strategic insight, and creative vision to real estate. A graduate of USC, she has called Los Angeles home for more than 25 years and has lived in Hancock Park, West Hollywood, Manhattan Beach, Pacific Palisades and Sherman Oaks. As part of renowned Compass real estate expert Tracy Tutor’s team, Azizah creates an experience that feels both professional and personal.

Azizah is a co-founder of ankinrowen productions in NYC, where she worked as a producer. She has produced off-Broadway plays in collaboration with WET (Women's Expressive Theater), including the world premiere of Brooke Berman's A Perfect Couple at the DR2. She has also produced readings at the Rattlestick theater in NYC and The Bay Street theater in Sag Harbor, NY, among others.
